Italy's Amalfi Coast is indescribably picturesque. Two MUST SEES in this part of the world are the Island of Capri and the city of Positano.
Capri is an island famous for its crystal clear waters, dramatic views, and homemade limoncello. In 2015, I visited Capri for the first time and fell in love. While two days is enough to see the entire island, you could spend weeks starring at its beauty and sailing through its waters. Needless to say, I cannot wait to return.
Just as beautiful, Positano is a cliffside village on Italy's Amalfi Coast. It is a well-known destination with a pebble beachfront and steep, narrow streets lined with boutiques and cafes. A picture at Positano's cliffside beach is a force to be reckoned with. I visited Positano on a day trip from Naples. This was a big mistake, as there is too much to see in such a short period of time. Instead, you should spend at least two days exploring the town, laying on the beach, drinking wine in a cliffside restaurant, walking through the cobblestone streets or simply enjoying the beauty of doing nothing with a view.
